Our Mission

Risen Church's mission is the one Christ gave to the church in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Our Vision

R- Rely on God

Our goal is to be faithful not flashy. Our passion is to faithfully preach and teach God’s Word and depend upon Him in prayer. In many ways, we will be deliberately simple with weekly corporate worship as the centerpiece and launching pad for all we are and do.

I- Invest in people

Discipleship requires personal investment. The church is more of an organism than a organization. We believe the most fruitful soil for discipleship is in the context of community.

S- Service is worship

We want to grow servants not spectators. We aim to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, to see each person using their God-given gifts to minister to the church and reach the world

E- Evangelistic culture

We believe that developing culture is more powerful than programs. We seek to intentionally develop the culture of hospitality, urgent mission, and consistent bold proclamation of the gospel.

N- Never outgrow the Gospel

The gospel is the central message of the Bible. 1 Corinthians 15:3-6 says, “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised from the dead according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas then to the twelve. Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.” This gospel is the heartbeat of our church. All of our actions pour forth out of the love with which Christ loved us.
